L’aggiornamento mattutino di ECMWF ripropone un’irruzione molto fredda artico-continentale subito dopo la Candelora (2 febbraio) su buona parte dell’est Europa ed anche in Italia.
Masse d’aria di questo tipo si rivelerebbero nettamente più fredde rispetto alle precedenti arrivate nel Mediterraneo (in prevalenza polari-marittime) e di conseguenza le regioni coinvolte potrebbero assistere a nevicate fino a quote bassissime. Ma dove effettivamente scivolerà quest’ondata di freddo artico-continentale? Al momento le regioni più indiziate sarebbero quelle del medio-basso Adriatico e del sud, ovvero le più esposte alle correnti da nordest. Sul resto d’Italia farebbe certamente molto freddo, ma con precipitazioni scarse o inesistenti.
